Resource Guide for West Carroll Families

With the government shutdown and the elimination of SNAP benefits starting in November, we are aware of the financial crisis that many of our families may be facing. To help relieve any financial stress, we’ve put together a Local Resource Guide. The Local Resource Guide will be available on our website and will be updated as we learn of more resources.

Please note that the West Carroll Food Pantry, located at First United Methodist Church (2100 Chicago Ave in Savanna), will be open this coming Monday, November 3rd from 3:30 – 5:00 pm. It is open the 1st and 3rd Monday from 3:30-5:00 pm for families with children in the West Carroll School District.

We will also be holding a District-wide food drive. If you are able, please consider dropping off food/hygiene donations at either school building during the upcoming Parent/Teacher Conferences being held on Wednesday, November 5th from 3:00 - 8:00 pm and Thursday, November 6th from 1:00 - 7:00 pm or drop off during regular school hours. You can also send donations in a clearly marked bag to school with your child. All donations will go to the West Carroll Food Pantry.
